What is a compounded medication?
Medications that are custom formulated to meet an individual’s specific needs.
Why would someone need compounded medications?
There are several reasons someone might require compounded medications. The dose you need may not be produced commercially, you may need an alternate method of delivery, the medication or hormone may not be available commercially or you may be allergic to certain dyes, binders or preservatives in available “off the shelf” medications. For oral compounds, there are hundreds of flavors that we can also utilize to make the medication(s) easy ingest such as chocolate-marshmallow, peach mélange and coconut-custard.
Can you fill prescriptions for non-compounded medications?
Our focus is to provide high quality customized products that are not manufactured for mass distribution and commercial products of limited availability.
How much does shipping cost?
Overnight shipping is free to most locations. If our carrier does not contract with your particular state, we have other options available at no cost and expedited shipping for an additional fee.
What is the turnaround time for me to obtain my medications?
We stock most items and if we receive your prescription by 2PMPacific Standard Time, it is likely that you will receive your medication(s) the very next day-some exclusions do apply. If you are ordering a prescription whereby we need to special order some or all of the ingredients, we will inform you of the time frame by which you should expect to receive your prescription (s).
Can any doctor use your pharmacy to fill my prescription?
Yes, if you change doctors, you may request that the new group send your prescription to us. Another option is that you can request your prescription to be written by the physician and you may fax us at 1-310-539-1734 or email it to us for us to fill. We work with hundreds of physicians across the country and any doctor you choose may use our prescription services.
Can you fill a prescription for any state?
Yes, we are licensed in most states across the country.
Are you covered by my insurance?
We provide our patients with a Universal Claim Form by which they may submit to their insurance for possible reimbursement directly to them. We are also available to help in any way that we can to expedite the process or to offer advice if you experience problems. In many cases the co-payment for compounded medications is the same or slightly more than the actual cost of the medication so sometimes it may not make sense to submit the claim form. Regardless, we are here to help and we accept all credit cards and offer free shipping .

Why is your pharmacy better than the rest?
We have a highly trained compounding pharmacy staff who utilize state-of-the-art equipment to make all our compounds ensuring consistency and potency. We work with only certified vendors who can certify the source of their raw materials and show data of potency-this is not required-it is just our policy. We use vegetable capsules vs. gelatin unless specified otherwise which is more costly but avoids utilizing animal by products. We use natural fillers such as acidophilus instead of chemical fillers whenever possible thereby enhancing absorption and effect. We stay up to date on the latest interventions by attending trade shows and reviewing relevant studies. In addition to our pharmacist, we also have a medical doctor on staff and a host of specialists in every field by which to consult with on our new formulations. We are going on 10 years of doing business and we are proud to be the leaders in our field.
